摘要

I am very glad being invited to attend this annual Iron & Steel conference, to discuss the challenges of pushing steel industry structure adjustment, developing cycling economy and advancing with new style industrialization in new environment with all leaders, experts. The early 20 years of 21st century is the very important strategic opportunity for China to develop its economy. It is also the key time for China to develop steel industry in adjusting, to push it from a great steel nation to a strong steel nation. We think that the competition of current Chinese steel industry is changing from relatively loose market to constraint market, from pursuing scale and capacity to fostering kernel and comprehensive competitiveness, from grade structure to grades, quality, cost and service, from self-funding development to integrating resources, improving capital management ability to realize development, from domestic market to international market.
