Abraham Maslow was a pioneer in the area of enlightened management and psychology. One of his contributions was his Hierarchy of Needs. This model is a concept that has been used in academia for decades to attempt to decipher human motivation and achieving success in management or education. This paper will associate Maslow's model to both the computer and the technician, as well as show that the processes that currently exist in our fields can have their maturity measured through using the model as a measuring tool. This measurement would lay the groundwork for establishing a baseline for company use to grow the IT infrastructure to match business process maturity.
