摘要

The authors of the article under consideration trace the evolutionary development of laughter as a societal phenomenon and address the acute problem of laughter culture transition to cyber reality. Based on the conducted analysis of the humorous content of social networks, messengers and other platforms comic nature of Internet memes is revealed, as well as their classification is provided. According to the results of the conducted large-scale empiric survey concerning media preferences of the studying youth of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod region the memes choice factors were analyzed. The conclusion is made that the further analysis of cyber laughter culture carries an interdisciplinary character combining various methods including data mining and text mining.
