Spectral and spatial nonlinear phase φ~(NL)(r,w) induced on a femtosecond probe by a femtosecond pump pulse during second harmonic generation are simultaneously characterized. Theoretical and experimental evolutions of φ~(NL)(r,w) versus the phase mismatch Δk are in agreement.
