摘要

The maximum acting distance of infrared TV goniometer is a key index to appreciate its overall performance. By means of the theoretical research on the transmission equation of the infrared wave in the atmosphere and the technical analysis on the receiving property of the infrared TV goniometer, an auto-appreciating system for the maximum acting distance of infrared TV goniometer is presented which is controlled and processed by computer. The system uses advanced high-power infrared LED (light emitting diode) source driving technique, adjustable driving voltage technique controlled by DAC and image process technique. In addition, compared with the experiments of the firing ground, the validity of this method has been proved. Results from the system can also offer the reference to appreciate the effective acting distance of similar instruments such as laser ranging and laser navigation. As a result, this research is very valuable in the infrared wave application.
