1. PVC wood shows improved performance over wood in the following properties: 1.1 Termite resistance 1.2 Weathering aging 1.2.1 Less color change 1.2.2 Better dimensional stability 1.3 Less moisture absorption 1.4 Ready for installation 1.5 Easy to coordinate with any color scheme 1.6 Maintenance free 2. PVC wood can be produced in different pattern and various thickness. It can be nailed, screwed, sawed, cut, and glued like wood by conventional tools without any special skills required. 3. PVC wood offers similar physical properties to wood. Although bending strength is lower, it can be fulfilled for decorative application, i.e. cornice, door and siding. Further work should be done to improve bending property of PVC wood.
