摘要

The surface wash-off from watersheds is an important mechanism of radionuclide redistribution between terrestrial (agricultural,meadow and forest) ecosystems and water bodies.Within the present work using artificial irrigation of runoff plots,an experimental study was conducted of wash-off of dissolved forms of ~137Cs and ~90Sr by surface rainfall runoff from non-agricultural watersheds in the proximity of the Chernobyl NPP.A method is proposed for calculating radionuclide concentrations in the runoff as a function of characteristics of rainfall,runoff,soil and radionuclide distribution in the soil profile.
