This article discusses process definition methods that basernon WFMC rules on the ground of features of productrnstructure and development process management of discreternnew product development. It particularly makes arnthoroughgoing exploration into the multi-dimensionedrnmatrix’s structure of related objects and properties, whichrncomposes process, sub process, conditional routing, propertyrnand state of activity diagram nodes, operation control policyrnand corresponding information on task, role, authority andrndocuments of process and project. At the end of this article,rnthe mechanism of process change management andrnconcurrence control is discussed to include them asrnimportant components of PDM and PLM.
