摘要

Although each plant has their own distinct design, there are an increasing number of plants. being decommissioned and many lessons learned to be shared on common issues. By using the knowledge gained during decommissioning of other plants, and learning from other's mistakes or successes, it is hoped that the next project will have a better chance of being completed on time and under budget. Some of these lessons learned also apply to the design of the next generation of plants to be built in that eventually someone will have to decommission the newly commissioned plants of today.
