摘要

The CENDRILLON liquid transfer system [1] was studied and developed by the CEA (Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives - French Atomic Commission) in the late 1950s and early 1960s to transfer and transport radioactive liquid solutions to waste treatment facilities. A CENDRILLON has 3 main components (see figure 1), the tank containing the liquid, the biological shielding and the connection head. This system has been manufactured in several versions in three different sizes and for each different tank volume. For each size, the biological shielding thickness is based on the tank volume. The CENDRILLON connection system remains identical whatever the size or volume. All the CENDRILLON liquid transfers, filling and sucking out are carried out under vacuum.
