The methods used for atmospheric measurements of OH and HO_2 radicals are reviewed. Focus is given to advances in the measurement technology, instrument design and calibration for OH and HO_2 measurements and a summary of results from some recent intercomparison studies, in particular, the HOxCOMP campaign are presented.
