Abstract: Techniques for the detection of wavelength shifts of fiber Bragg grating sensors based on the use of a tunable bandpass filter, interferometric detection, and active laser configurations are described. The methods used to multiplex several sensors along a single fiber using these approaches are also discussed, and results presented. !23
