摘要

Superacidic fiber (PTFE-co-St-SO_3H) have been prepared by radiation-induced graft polymerization of styrene onto polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fiber followed by sulfonation. The determined Hammett acidity constant of PTFE-co-St-SO_3H fiber is lower than -11.99 using the superacid indicators when the grafting degree is not very high. The catalytic activity of PTFE-co-St-SO_3H fiber for esterification of HAc and 1-butanol is higher than that of the commercial macroporous sulphonated strong acidic resin.
