摘要

The mathematical model was put forward to study on the stoppage behavior of vertical axial flow pumping station with rapid-drop gate as cut-off device.By numerical simulation,the influences from the head of pumping system on the stoppage behavior were studied.As an example,The stoppage behavior of Tai'er zhuang pumping station,one of pumping stations in the east route of the South to North water diversion project,was studied.The results were helped to decide the close time of rapid-drop gate and to design or check the strength of the pump unit.
