摘要

The irrigation system of low-pressure pipeline could save water notably with a low cost and convenient management.Therefore,the irrigation technology was an orientational technical measure when water saving irrigation was developed or engineering was reconstructed in many developed countries.Pipeline blocking for silt up was a key factor that results in the irrigation technology of low-pressure pipeline and was not easy to generalize in irrigation areas where irrigation water was diverted from sediment-laden river.The origin of pipeline silting was analyzed and the types of blocking were expounded based on the operation condition of test projects.The counter measures of siltation prevention were put forward according to the features of the irrigation system.Moreover,the experienced formulas of non-depositing critical velocity for muddy water delivery in low-pressure pipeline irrigation system were drawn according to the testing data.The anti-silt measures were proved efficiently by engineering application.Therefore,it has an important sense of generalizing low-pressure pipeline irrigation technology in irrigation zones as diverting water from sedimentladen river.
