The marine synthesize electric propulsion system integrated the electrical power system and electric propulsion system is the new tendency which the future will develop. This paper carries on the analysis to the merit of the synthesis electric propulsion system in the angle of system design, and elaborates emphatically in some possible problem existing in the electric propulsion system design, such as power plant capacity, voltage and current harmonics, earth protection and so on.
