Eight kinds of typical pollutants were selected as evaluation factors to determine the weight of water quality evaluationrnindex based on the Entropy weight method. Used the improved Matter-element extension model and Nemerow index method,rncombined groundwater quality standards (GB/T14848-93), the groundwater quality of 14 groundwater samples in Guqiao mine inrnHuainan was evaluated. Results of the two methods were consistent, and showed that the water qualities of the upper and centralrnaquifers of Cenozoic were better. While the water qualities of the bottom aquifer, coal measures aquifer and the limestone aquiferrnwere worse. And the results reflected the overall situation of groundwater quality objectively.
