摘要

The concept of critical factors has been getting a lot of attention in the evaluation process of technological and business initiatives for more than two decades. Various research methods have been employed to investigate these factors. This paper reviews some examples of the critical factor technique being used within various business contexts. A survey of the research methods used to investigate the factors, which are critical to the success or failure of various projects, has been reported in the literature. A synthesis of the literature expatiating on the critical factors is presented in this paper.
