Direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation of multiple signals is a well-studied problem in spatial signal processing. "Traditional" methods exploit knowledge of the array manifold or its structure without using information on the signals. The constant modulus algorithm (CMA) is shown quite important for blind beamforming. However, when the co-channel interference signals are stronger than the desired signal, their convergence becomes unbearable. In this paper, we proposed a novel method to determine the DOA of the multiple interference signals obtained from the weight vector based on the CMA under severe environment. Formulations in theory and simulation results confirm its accuracy and efficiency. Moreover, only one snapshot and a few samples are needed. With the known DOA of the desired signals, a satisfactory beam pattern can be formed immediately.
