This paper presents a methodology that expands the boundary scan test function in the ICT/ATE and "virtual instruments" test platforms. A description has been given for the software architecture, which accomplish the boundary scan auto test in conventional tester. Also, give the discussion on including other applications based on the boundary scan into this software architecture.
