A STUDY ON THERMODYNAMICS AND KINETICS FOR THE ACTIVITY LIBERATION OF RICE MITOCHONDRIA BY DSC

摘要

Some studies on the metabolism of mitochondria out of the cell by microcalorimetry have been reported [1,2]. In this work, the thermodynamic and kinetic behaviours of the activity liberation for Guangchong 41 (G) and Maxie (M) fertile (B) rice mitochondria that were laid up at 0 - 3℃ for different time in heating process have been studied first by using a Dupont 910 differential scanning calorimeter & 9900 Computer /Thermal analyzer system in the range 0 - 80℃. The suspension of the mitochondria isolated from the rices were sampled once in about 12 h and sealed in the specific hermitic pans for measurement. The heating rate (β) used was 3 K min~(-1), the atmosphere was a high pure nitrogen stream at flow rate of 40 ml min~(-1), the high pure indium was used for the calibration of the instrument.
