摘要

It is those oligosaccharides that are involved in the important biological phenomena such as cell recognition and the membrane-bound receptor. The analysis of such saccharides has been becoming widely interested ,however,powerful analytical tools are required. One of the widely used method is high performance aruon-exchange liquid chromatography (HPAEC)with pulsed amperometric detection1. The major disadvantage of this technique is the requirement of the high concentrations of sodium hydroxide and sodium acetate, which are then difficult to remove sufficiently for subsequent analysis. It has also no enough resolution power to separate isomers of the oligosaccharides.
