Shenghongqing tunnel is a double-line railway tunnel under complex geological conditions, which double-decker container train can be crossed. As the angel between the tunnel axes and the strike of hillside is small, unsymmetrical pressure will loaded on the support after excavation. In order to reduce problems during construction, precautionary measures are drafted by the suggestions of experts and field practice. Precautions consist of two parts, one is forepoles and injection to reinforce rock ahead of the advancing face, the other is backfill hillside to minish the unsymmetrical pressure. Based on geological conditions, 4 backfill schemes are proposed, which have different quantities. Tunnel is simplified a problem of plane strain, FEM(Finite Element Methods) is used to optimize schemes. Computational results show that the maximums of inner forces and displacements decrease before increase with the increment of backfill quantities. By the contrast analysis, an efficient scheme is selected. Finally, by monitoring of the convergence displacements of tunnel, the effect of precaution measures is proved.
