Application of GA Method and SCE-UA Method for Calibrating the Xin'anjiang Model

摘要

This paper studies on the application of GA and SCE-UA methods for calibrating concentration parameters of Xin'anjiang hydrological model which is a conceptual watershed model widely applied in China. As an example, these two algorithms were compared by using flood e-vents of Xiuhe watershed in Jiangxi province, and the deterministic coefficient was taken as the index for comparison. Results show that SCE-UA method is superior to GA method in some extent for the studied cases.
