摘要

A new probe for the measurement of bubble hydrodynamics in high temperature fluidized beds was presented in this paper. The whole probe consists of 2 optical probes at 2 different levels of immersion in the bed. Each optical probe is set within a 5X10~3m o. d. copper tube and is water-cooled. It is composed of 3 optical fibers, one for light emission (with a diode laser as light source), the other for receiving the reflected light from the bed. This probe has been successfully used in a laboratory-scale electrical-heated bubbling bed up to almost 850 deg C, with 3 sand powders of mean diameter ranging from 0.28 mm to 1.415mm and a pilot bliler with coal burning.
