Experimental results on fluid dynamics and heat transfer at the interaction of an immersed horizontal tube and a gas fluidized bed of ferromagnetic iron shots of d_p=733 #mu#m and d_p=1511 #mu#m at twenty different intensities of an applied uniform magnetic field from 0 to 19576 A/m are reported. The effect of an applied magnetic field intensity and a gas velocity on the particles behavior and variation of total and local heat transfer coefficients is discussed. Correlations are presented to calculate the MFB voidage, bubbling velocity and heat transfer coefficients.
