摘要

An empirical model for describing the exit effect in Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) risers has been developed. The model is based on analogy with air-water counter-current annular flow. The annular particle velocity is a fitting parameter in the model, and the values calculated by the model compare favorably with those that have been reported in the open literature. The results have been used to interpret the influence of the exit configuration on the axial flow structure.
