摘要

The dynamic behavior of individual particles in a gas-fluidized bed is obtained numerically by a combined approach of discrete particle method and computational fluid dynamics. It shows that the inter-particle contact forces change dramatically during the time evolution as a direct consequence of the strong gas-solid interaction. The magnitude of contact force is much higher than that of fluid drag force in terms of maxima and its occurrence is found to be not necessarily in the region where gas velocity is high.
