摘要

A computer suspension dynamics code based on the direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) model was developed for simulation of dilute suspensions in circulating fluidized beds. The cluster behavior observed by the laser sheet technique was reproduced by DSMC simulation. The extended Richardson-Zaki correlation proposed previously by the author based on probe measurements has also been confirmed by the present computer simulation.
