The bulk density distributions display the hydrodynamic behavior of a CFB. In a riser of CFB, six kinds of typical vertical density profiles are defined as the "S", "L", "I", "C", "E", "r", or "SLICEr" shapes and two kinds of typical radial density profiles are defined as Flat and Core-Annular. These different density distributions are explain by entrance effect, energy effect and exit effect.
