Taking into account four correlated factors at the same time during the experiment, we found the optimum treatment in triploid induction on osyter, Crassostrea plicatula Gmelin. The resutl showed that it was very offective to induce triploids by giving a cold shock to the fertilized gggs just before the extrusion of the second polar body. Fertiflized the eggs under 22approx24degC, gave the eggs a cold shcok (2approx2degC) 35 min after fertilization for 15 min, the percentage of triploids induced was 69.13+-5
