A totoal of 171 bacterial isolations, comprising 55 isolates of Aeromonas hydrophila from catfish, 19 isolates of Vibrio sp.from catfish and 97 isolates of Vibrio sp. from Penaeus monodon, were tested to determine the minimum inhibitory concntrations (MIC) of oxytetracycline (OTC) effective against them. The results indicate that some of these strains are resistant to OTC. Strains of A.hydrophila and Vibrio sp. from catfish demonstrated high resistance. (MIC>=250mg/L), to OTC at 24
