At present, there is no effective cure for the virus diseases of shrimp, thereofr more attention is paid to the prevention techniques. The DNA probe can be applied for identifying the virus rapidly and accurately. So, it will become a very useful tool for protection of shrimp culture against the virus disease, especially in SPF (specific pathogen free) shrimp culture system.
