摘要

The implementation of the coupled elastoplastic/damage model for metal forming, developed in Part 1, into industrial finite element codes (Forge2~(~R) and Forge3~(~R)) dedicated to the metal forming simulation has been made. This provides a very helpful way to improve numerically any metal forming process in order to avoid or to enhance the ductile damage occurrence. Applications have been made to some cutting operations including the classical blanking of thin sheets as well as the drilling and deburring of a forged wheel. The results obtained attest the capability of the proposed approach to enhance any metal forming processes with respect to ductile damage occurrence.
