摘要

The present work has shown that the complex multi-stage bending of a metal-rubber profile could be successfully simulated by FEM calculations. Thanks to the precise description of the geometry and of the tools, the strain distribution permits qualitative understanding of strain-path evolution and the risk of necking. Encouraging results of MK-analysis in the final bending stage has been obtained, which is expected to be improved by a better material description.
