摘要

This paper addresses the question of the relationship between friction and velocity in cylinders. First of all, the mechanism of stick slip is described. Secondly a platform was developed for investigating the friction at different velocities and under different working conditions. Also by using visual c++ the software of controlling the server motor and data acquiring is programmed. Thirdly through ex- periment and data analysis, the mathematical model of the friction-velocity of cylinder is proposed.
