In this paper the electrical conductivity of Cu_2O matrix inhomogeneous composites were tested. Cu_2O matrix inhomogeneous composites, which were prepared by traditional powder metallurgy method, were with different Cu content and porosities. The results show that the electrical conductivity as a function of Cu content is consistent with percolation theory. The relationship between electrical conductivity and porosity can be calculated using the equation, σ = σ_0(1-θ)~n. When the Cu content is below the percolation threshold, the temperature dependence of the electrical conductivity shows a hysteresis phenomenon.
