A silicalite-1 membrane prepared on the inside of a porous sintered stainless steel tube was used to separate ketones from water by pervaporation technique. Pervaporation experiments were performed for a feed liquid mixture of acetone/water and MEKAvater. As feed concentrations of acetone and MEK increase, acetone and MEK permeation fluxes increase while selectivities decrease.
