摘要

We have measured electron emission from hot fullerene anions, C_2 emission from hot fullerene cations and both electron and C_2 emission from hot neutral fullerenes. The measurements also determine the intensity of thermal radiation which is an important competing process to particle decay. The time dependence of the various decay processes are studied for ions stored in a storage ring and for neutrals in a time of flight (TOF)spectrometer. We have determined activation energies and the pre-exponential factors in the Arrhenius expression for the rate constants.
