We present electroabsorption study of C_(60)F_(18) in the Langmuir-Blodgett films and its polymer solution in PMMA matrix. The electroabsorption spectra, which were interpreted in terms of Stark effect showed that some of the excited states of C_(60)F_(18) are characterized by significant changes of the molecular dipole moment, are found responsible for inter- and intramolecular charge transfer (CT). The spectral positions of these intramolecular and intermolecular excitations have been determined. The possibility, that the polar molecules of C_(60)F_(18) (which are theoretically predicted to have a molecular dipole moment of 13 D) can form polar Langmuir-Blodgett films, is discussed.
