摘要

Based on the principles of behavioral science that culture shapes organization behavior and organization behavior produces individual behavior, safety management program for construction project was put forward under the framework of individual behavior -organization behavior-safety culture. A questionnaire was designed with the objective of testing the program. It was founded that inadequate safety knowledge, safety habit and safety conscience are root causes of individual unsafe behavior and individual behavior rectification was applied to improve individual safe behavior. Key elements of organization behavior were identified and the method of organization behavior diagnosis was introduced. The effect of safety culture on accident prevention was also elaborated and proposed safety culture model. The findings of this paper will support an essential method to improve the safety performance of construction projects.
