摘要

Research on risk management and bidding decisions has important values, which can strengthen the comprehensive abilities of contractor and enhance contractors' competitive capacities in the national and international construction market.rnAfter the reformation of China, a series of policies such as the project capital system, the legal manager duty system, and the bidding system have been carried out. In October of 1999, a bidding law was implemented to legalize and globalize the construction market of China However, what we should notice is that illegal operations still frequently happen, and illegal contracts, quality and safety accidents, project claims' delay and corruption are still four main problems the contractors have to face. In order to save investment and reduce the project costs, many developers tend to lower their bidding price and delay the project claims, and sometimes even ask the contractor to pay for them first, which is harmful to the quality and the progress of the project. As a consequence, to win the game, it is very important for a contractor to analyze the risks in this phase of the bidding. Only a proper risk analysis can help to judge the tendency of the market and to select a proper and profitable project.
