With the rapid economy and population development, water environment has been met badly breakage. So renewing the local water environment has become urgently task. River pollutant carrying capacity is an important index which can measure basin pollutant carrying capacity. Based on the analysis of the status quo of water pollution and combination of water quality objectives of water environment in Fangshan District, one-dimensional linear model is used to calculate rivers pollutant carrying capacity in this paper. It reveals that, CODcr carrying capacity is 5919 t/a, for NH3-N is 374 t/a. The measures to renew local water environment are also given.
