摘要

Mechanical tests at high temperature performed on Tyranno-Hex specimens have shown that the performance of these composites are somewhat affected starting from 1000℃. It is therefore necessary to think about a suitable protection technique to prevent early stage oxidation. In this issue, some protection techniques will be presented; particularly : the pressureless technique using Vycor glass and the coating via prehydrolyzed sol-gel solutions.
