Correlating Western analysis methodology of the image of the city, the author observes and analyzes the image and form of pre-concession district on Haihe River right bank with a conclusion of practical revelation. And on the basis of investigation result, the researcher points out the effect and purport of protecting the original city image elements and the internal relationships as well as assorting the old elements with the new ones to the sound reconstruction in Tianjin.
