摘要

In this paper a new model of overcurrent relays characteristic curves are introduced. This model is based on fuzzy logic and facilitates the implementation of these curves using personal computer. The proposed model combines some experimental test and fuzzy logic rules. So it requires less storage memory than tabulating methods and has more accuracy thean analytical models. The validity of the proposed model is provided by comparison between tabulating and analytical models in one hand, and fuzzy model in other hand.
