Corona discharge is applied to various fields. In the applications, the change of corona discharge characteristics is problem. The effects of airflow and isopar (which is mixture of several kinds of iso-paraffin: n-Nonane, n-Decane and so on) gas on corona discharge are investigated. It is found that the voltage for keeping corona current constant decreases when the airflow is applied to corona discharge area and that the voltage increases when the airflow contains isopar gas. It is found that the accumulation of polymer occurs on corona wire when the wire is negative and the airflow contains isopar gas. It is considered that the initial mechanism of the accumulation is due to isopar ionization by electron collision to positive ion.
