摘要

This paper deals with a control technique of eliminating the transient vibration of a geared mechanical system. For example, the lower-frequency vibration related to the natural frequency and the higher-frequency vibration related to the backlash are often generated in the starting and the arrival phases. To reduce the higher-frequency vibration, a non-backlash gear is installed in the system. Further, a sensor-based control is applied to the velocity control loop in order to establish the damping effect at the driven machine part and to reduce the lower-frequency vibration. The performance of this control technique is investigated by simulations and experiments. Simulations and experiments show satisfactory results. The settling time of the time response can be shortened down to about 1/2 of the uncompensated vibration level.
