摘要

On-demand air transportation is widely used because of its flexibility, privacy, and guaranteed availability. The customers can fly directly to any station in the network anytime as they wish, and request their flights only days or even hours in advance. Management companies have to serve customer demand by efficiently arranging the available aircraft and crew with minimal operation cost. We provide a mixed-integer programming model to simultaneously solve the fleet assignment, aircraft routing, and crew scheduling problems. The aircraft maintenance and the crew’s transportation by commercial airlines are taken into account.
