During structural dynamic analysis uncertainty is often presentrnin structural parameters such as the material properties and dimensions.rnA review of uncertainty propagation methods is made.rnThe methods are compared in terms of accuracy, efficiency andrnapplicability, and the Monte Carlo method is taken as the referencernmethod. The test cases utilised are a cantilever beam andrna plate.
